BACKGROUND

An “unnamed” company had an idea for an auscultation training wearable device and needed help making their concept a reality. They were also on the verge of losing their patent — so time was critical.

CONCEPT

The SimShirt is a “wearable” system used for auscultation training in a medical environment. It creates realistic interactions between the (medical patient actor) wearing the SimShirt and the students undergoing medical simulation training.

REFINEMENT

The fabric panels are embedded with sound and vibrations, via RFID Tags , pulse points, etc, which aid medical students through simulation training.
