Erica is currently living in Austin TX with her 2 catz, Zeus and Loki. She holds a B.S in Industrial Design, and has deep experience in wearable technology. During her time as lead designer at Umbach Consulting Group, her team received a Spark Design Award for a collaborative project: The SimShirt.

She created and led I.D/Design Process workshops for a non-profit maker space, and was a swim instructor/lifeguard at the YMCA earlier in her career. Other facts: Erica paints, does photography, writes once in a while, and seeks collaborations to make useful things.
